Computer Repair: Computer Systems Technology I 8622

The A+ ® Support Team exists to deliver exceptional customer service and technical support with regard to the products and services provided by The American Education Corporation. This is accomplished by: individual and team commitment to ongoing growth and education; and every team member utilizing their skills and taking the latitude and responsibility to treat a customer problem as their own.

Nurse Aide Course

The Nurse Aide class is a one year, dual-enrollment course, open to high school juniors and seniors. The course covers anatomy and physiology, disease processes, First Aid and CPR,communication, observation and reporting skills, safety and infection control, Patient Rights, medical terminology and skills related to patient care.  Clinical rotations are done in local nursing homes. 

This course prepares students to take the State Board exam for Nurse Aide; upon passing this exam, students become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA).

Cosmetology I&II

The Cosmetology course is a  two year class, open to high school juniors.  The course covers career opportunities, life skills, professional image, communication, general sciences, hair care,skin care, nail care, and business skills as they relate to the cosmetology industry. Students skills are taught in a salon setting which prepares them for the business. 

This course prepares students to take the State Board Licensure exam and upon passing the theory and practical portions,students will be Licensed Cosmetologist.
